Der originale Facel Vega Abblendschalter für die V8 Modelle im Fussraum hat 5 Kontakte. Dies ist der Tatsache geschuldet, dass auch das Standlicht mit geschaltet wird. Dies ist nach heutigen Vorschriften nicht erlaubt und sollte durch Brückung der Standlichtkabel unterdrückt werden. Daher funktionieren heutzutage auch die angebotenen 3-poligen Fußschalter für das Abblendlicht.

Standlicht: Gelb und Gelb/Weiss sollten verbunden werden sie werden nicht an die modernen Abblendschalter mit drei Kontakten angeschlossen.

Farben im Kabelbaum:

Gelb = Standlich

Blau = Abblendlich

Grün = Fernlicht

Die rote oder blaue Kontrolllampe am Armaturenbrett wird normal aus dem Kabelbaum gespeist.

 

Moderner Fußschalter:

Klemme 56 = Weiss/Blau

Klemme 56a = Grün

Klemme 56b = Blau

 

Lichtschalter in der Mittelkonsole:

Standlich auf die erste Rastung klemmen

Abblendlicht und Fernlicht auf die zweite Rastung klemmen.
